There is no person, program, or agency that can say they are a “disability expert.”
Disability Awareness Training (DAT), LLC became a national leader in disability advocacy by recognizing that, and from our inception, we established relationships with disability advocacy organizations and subject matter experts, now most of them are our partners and peers.
We are always researching programs that embrace what Disability Awareness means: inclusive design and planning, universal accessibility, collaboration, and proper and appropriate language and interaction skills.
Here are some premier tools, guides, and resources in etiquette, language, disability rights, accessibility, and inclusion. These are just a sample of some of the tools and resources that are provided in Disability Awareness Training programs. Training expands on these topics and resources, allowing you to apply them to your profession and daily life.
