Disability Awareness Training Founder and Lead Trainer Dave Whalen recieved the Spirited Athletes Bold at Heart (SABAH) Volunteer of the Year Award at their annual Skating Finale Event at the Buffalo Convention Center April 15th. Dave got involved in SABAH 23 years ago when his son David began skating at age 5. SABAH has been a leader in recreation progrmas for individuals with disabilities, with their signature skating program generally recognized as a premier sport in Western New York.
